WCU Gamma Chi Pledges 2007
We decided it has been about three years since we have caught up. Thanks to facebook and my blog we are able to keep up with each other more than people have been able to in the past. Still, it was nice to sit down with her, face to face, have lunch with our babies and reminisce.
Today, our schedules finally matched up! We met at the local Chickfila and had such a great time. Until little Bailey broke his leg! We actually were unaware he was hurt so badly until we had gotten to the park and he wouldn't let Susan put him down. When she would attempt to set him on his feet he would lift his left leg and cry, "Nooo, noooo." Poor baby had broken his calf bone!
Our play date was cut short, but for good reason. Her husband, Steve, came from Vicksburg to meet them at the UMC ER. Hours later they had him in a cast and were on their way home. I am sad, for Bailey, that our day turned out this way, but hoping we can meet up again soon when they travel back for his follow up appointments.
