Wednesday morning, Braxton and Kenzie came over. Jennifer had to work on her classroom and who better to watch them than the person responsible for them five days a week, 8 hours a day beginning August 1?
When they came in, Emma was still having breakfast. She looked at both Brax ad Kenzie like, "What are you guys doing here?" Ha! After a few minutes (seconds), they were settled in (toys were everywhere). Emma watched in amazement as the twins ran from one side of the living room to the other, tossing and picking up toys as they went. It wasn't long before she was up on her feet, smiling and giggling with her friends.
About 9am, both Braxton and Kenz pointed to the playpen and said, "night, night?" Talk about impeccable timing! It was Emma's nap time too! I was fully expecting things to not go well, but to my great, great surprise, Em didn't fight long and the twins talked themselves to sleep pretty quickly. If everyday goes like this, I can be ok with that =)
