Emma and I introduced a new group to The Children's Museum! This was the youngest group I've taken and apparently on one of the busiest days. It was crazy crowded and loud. Plus, we timed it perfectly just before naps were needed and an hour or so before lunch. Somehow, we managed to have a good time amongst all the irritability.
Knox man wasn't phased at all. He was beyond happy to have new territory to crawl all over. Emma was being very girly, not wanting to be on the floor hardly ever. Luke and Benjamin were taking it all in, but were pretty cautious of the big kids running around. I think things would have been different had we had full range of the place. Everything changes when you put seven year olds in the mix with two year olds. Our bunch didn't feel like they could go far from Mamas. We didn't stay long. Maybe an hour and a half?
Next time, we know to plan for earlier in the day and NOT a Friday!
