It has been a sweet, sweet day in late December - Nana's birthday!
Josh, Emma and I came down to Ptown earlier this day to celebrate Nana's birthday. When we came into town, we stretched our legs just long enough before heading over to Nana's favorite restaurant - Olive Garden. Unable to keep it secret any longer, we gave Nana her gift just after arriving - a Shutterfly photo book of little Sweet Pea. After she flipped through the pages, she bent down, showing Emma detail after detail. With her tiny hands, Emma touched each page with interest as she cooed. I believe the gift was well received with both Nana and her Sweet Pea.
With reflux under control, Emma Grace was an angel at dinner. All propped up on an upside down high chair, Emma played with her birdie (on her car seat) the entire meal. She was fully content as she looked around our table at each familiar face.
For us, it was a happy day. We hope it was equally as special for you Nana! We love you!
