Aunt Mags is definitely spoiling Emma and me this summer. She has spent several days and a few nights with us since she's been out of school. It's nice, for me, having someone to talk to throughout the day (that can respond thehe) and Emma is just crazy about her Aunt.
The past couple of days have been especially fun. We've been out and about (rain and all) getting Maggie ready for our upcoming Florida trip. After today, I believe she's all set! We conquered Target and Kohl's, with a little ice cream in between to cool us down. Emma is definitely like me when it comes to sweets. She was going a little crazy over my cake batter, brownie, sprinkles concoction. Seriously, a little crazy haha.
Today ended with birthday pedicures from our sweet, dear Mommy - thank YOU! Maggie and I sunk low into our massaging chairs while Emma interacted with all the workers. Like anywhere we go, Em was the center of attention. It was a bit difficult to chill and talk with Mags with all the strangers flooding around our area ooing and awing at Emma like she's some shiny piece of jewelery. Don't get me wrong, I am completely flattered! It honestly just blows me away at the attention she draws, but humbles me more than anything.
Aunt Maggie, we thank you for all the girly, girl time! We appreciate you and all the days we get to spend with you!
