Today was our second time together at The Mississippi Children's Museum. Even though Em isn't quite big enough to play with everything, she enjoys watching all the kids run around. Today she was having some sort of allergy attack (sneezing every few minutes, runny nose, leaking tear duct) which made her less energetic than usual. Other than Pam helping her walk, Emma stayed in her stroller most of the trip.
For lunch, we had a picnic outside the museum. It was hot, but unusually "cool" for June. My Pilot read 90 degrees as we were leaving. For mid June, I call that cool! It was a beautiful day - perfect for a picnic. The kids ate a few bites of their sandwiches and chips before running off to climb the concrete hills. Emma took her time eating as she soaked up some free Vitamin D. Even though she wasn't feeling her best, she still seemed to enjoy herself and the great company we had.
With full bellies and energy to waste, we headed back in for a little more play. The kids explored what little they had yet to see before we called it a day. Linda, Pam and April it was SO good to see you and your kiddos again! I hope the next visit isn't far off!
