First Time to Church

Today has been the most beautiful Sunday.  It was the absolute perfect setting for Emma's first time to church.  God was on our side this morning - Emma was amazing.  We were able to get a great seat (easy to leave if need be).  She slept through morning worship - flawless.  When the music stopped she got a bit grumpy (Of course.  She loved morning worship when I was pregnant.  It has always soothed her.)  I held, rocked and swayed her the rest of the service.  A few whimpers here and there, but no tears, fits or scenes.  It went well!

After the sermon, Nana Tana bought Emma her very first Bible.  It's a beautiful baby pink, NIV Holy Bible.  Thank you Nana Tana for the sweet thought and special gesture.  It will be one of Emma's keepsakes forever.

The sermon today was on parenting.  God always speaks to our hearts at the time we need it most.  We love this church!  We're so blessed to be surrounded with such great, Godly people.  Bonus - it's five minutes from our house!
