Louisville

8am and we were ready to go!  Four hours behind schedule, but who was really counting?  Traveling conditions were ideal - beautiful weather, little traffic and a happy baby.  Emma handled the trip pretty well.  After our 3:00 late lunch stop, Em was not so keen on getting back in the car.  Thankfully, we were only three hours away and not six like Josh had thought haha.

The next day, we all slept "late" (9am) and napped for a good two hours (11am - 1pm).  Finally feeling a little rested, we dined out for a late lunch at Mojitos.  The Reid/Jones family was introduced to Cuban food and loved it!  The entire experience was interesting from start to end.  When they had prepared a meal, they brought it to us.  The waiters/waitresses were constantly flooding in and out with plates of food.  We were constantly eating different dishes, passing them around the table.  Delicioso!

After stuffing ourselves to the brim, we went strolling along the Ohio River.  The sun was setting, creating a beautiful backdrop.  We walked to Waterfront Park to let Emma get out some pinned up energy.  The temperatures were dropping, but fun was still to be had.  We played amongst the jungle gym until the sun was close to gone.  Before going back to the house, we grabbed a quick cup of coffee/hot chocolate/milk at Heine Brothers.  Emma was a mess, creating a mess every time I turned around.  Oi!  The bigger she gets, the more destructive she becomes!
