Our stay in the hospital this go round was completely different than when we had Emma. Everything was different from beginning to end - different. I don't know if it's the baby or the fact that we've done this once before. Whichever the reason, we had a much easier and better stay.
As special as those first few days are, it's nothing like being at home with your baby. We enjoyed having the nurses on hand 24/7, but taking Henry home to big sister was the absolute best. This was the first time we had both stayed overnight away from Emma. After the first couple of days, Josh and I were pretty homesick. Thank goodness the time passed quickly and we are now home with both our sweet babies. I can't stop smiling!
*A special, special thank you to my Mom and Meme Bobbie Jo for catering to our Emma in every way that she needed. You both kept her norm and gave her no time to be sad we were away. She was well taken care of and that made things easier for Josh and me. We couldn't have done this without you guys!*
