All day long Josh and I watched our weather app in hope of some sunshine. Finally, about 4:00pm we caught a break! NO RAIN!
We pulled up to the pier and immediately Emma yelled, "Beeeeaaaach!". She is 100% our child haha. We hit the boardwalk and down she went - ready to hit the "and" (sand)! Just before we dove into the ocean, Josh and Emma dug for "shoal" (shells). "Dada, fown!" (found), Em would say.
When we did finally head into the water, Emma and I pretended we were mermaids. "Memaid!", she would say, pointing to herself. She then wanted to know where "Dor Dor" and "Memo" were. How smart is she?! She knew they were fish and fish are found in the ocean. #brilliantbabygirl
Today was exactly what we needed! Praising God for a little bit of SUNSHINE!
